Wedding Photography Darlington | Davide & Emma | Yorkshire

Emma’s father shoving their home cured smoked salmon in my mouth as soon as I walked in was a good sign of things to come. The backdrop for Emma and Davide’s wedding was a beautiful summers day in Yorkshire near Darlington and the passion, care and love I saw in everyone I met over that weekend was just amazing. I’m so happy it was such a perfect day for two incredibly kind and caring people. It’s hard for me to describe these days so I will let the photography do it for me….

Wedding Photography Reading | Philip & Lydia

Philip and Lydia’s elegant autumnal wedding in Reading came with it’s own pallet of colour that only October brings. Philip is one of those people you feel like you have known your whole life and Lydia is the one of the kindest people I have met in a long time. In an effort to blog more, but smaller, posts this year here are just a few portraits from their day. I hope they capture just a little bit of their lovely energy.

The Story Continues | Best Wedding Photography 2013 | UK & Destination

To top 2012 was always going to be a challenge but I think 2013 might just have done it! It was a massive year for me both personally, as I got married myself and experienced life on the other side of the lens for once, and professionally, as my work kept growing.

It has been 12 months of transition and self-development as I walked, drove and flew to work; photographing weddings all over the UK and in further flung destinations, being lucky enough to have amazing couples let me in to their lives and help them tell their most intimate stories. Below are some images from weddings over the last year that I have been fortunate enough to photograph.

I want to thank all the people who supported me and the others who welcomed me in to their lives. There is a lot to be excited about in 2014 and I look forward to sharing the journey with you.

Martyn & Heejung | Wedding Photography South Wales

I have been a bit quiet on the blog front recently due to being very busy with photographing weddings and getting married myself a few weeks ago. It was an amazing and very moving day and I don’t think I can convert what it felt like in to words adequately. I have married a very special and unique person who now has a very unique name according to google (Jemima Dimopoulos), as well as being my best friend.

I normally do quite long blog posts but with so much work to share I’ve decided to do some smaller posts so I can share as many weddings as possible.

It’s been an interesting year, not only did I get to photograph a few destination weddings but I also had three couples based on the other-side of the world in Australia and New Zealand. Even though Martyn and Heejung live in Australia they flew all the way back to a South Wales to celebrate with Martyn’s family. It was a very international affair with Heejung’s family coming from South Korea as well.

They are two of the sweetest people you could ever meet and there were lots of tears and laughter. Also Heejung looked stunning in her dress!
